TPM-RAMS provides real time asset condition data that allows for proactive intervention before key/business critical machines and processes fail.  This provides the opportunity for containment actions to be implemented in non-production time. 

TPM-RAMS can also monitor asset parameters that impact on quality, energy use and environmental concerns, again providing the opportunity to take pre-determined and measured containment actions without jeopardising production output.

If the asset is safety critical with the potential to affect public safety, then the Asset Manager can immediately be aware of a failure with the asset and withdraw it from service to ensure that the risk to staff and the public is kept to as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP).

Unlike traditional production monitoring and building management systems that indicate running/stop conditions or measure predetermined parameters, TPM-RAMS constantly monitors and trends assets, and can predict failures before they occur.
