TPM-RAMS provides real time asset condition data that allows for proactive intervention before key/business critical machines and processes fail.  This provides the opportunity for containment actions to be implemented in non-production time.  TPM-RAMS can also monitor asset parameters that impact on quality, energy use and environmental concerns, again providing the opportunity to take pre-determined and measured containment actions without jeopardising production output.

Unlike traditional production monitoring and building management systems that indicate running/stop conditions or measure predetermined parameters, TPM-RAMS constantly monitors and trends assets, and can predict failures before they occur.

Early notification of potential concerns allows for production requirements to be rescheduled, and process adjustments made to ensure component quality remains within specification.

A typical TPM-RAMS installation also monitors energy use and will provide consumption date comparing like for like assets and facilities, highlighting energy wastage.  Being a wireless system, this comparison facility can extend across a site, sites and countries.
